PolyCrystal resonance-control technology has been recognized for what it is: A very effective means of dampening the resonance that hinders high-end audio components from achieving their fullest potential. Components from Diablo Acoustics, Birdland Audio, Walker and Martin Logan utilize PolyCrystal technology to make their audio components sound better…

Diablo Acoustics loudspeakers utilize enclosures cast out of PolyCrystal UHD. Here's what their designer, Steve Patzkowski, said of the improvements:

"The PolyCrystal enclosure exhibits excellent resonance control… [and] a tremendous ability to absorb energy. No vibration is allowed to transfer to the exterior of the cabinet walls, or to the drivers mounted to the speaker's front baffle. This results in a completely vibration-free loudspeaker system."

The chassis and case of the striking Birdland Tower series components, such as the tuner/preamp shown here, are cast entirely from PolyCrystal UHD.

The Walker Audio turntable achieves significant reductions in resonance-induced coloration by using, as its foundation, a solid slab of PolyCrystal UHD.

The solid foundation of the stunning Martin Logan Statement se2 dipolar speaker (left) is a solid base cast entirely of PolyCrystal UHD. The sides of the sub-bass towers (right), eight 12" drivers each, are also cast from PolyCrystal UHD.

At CES Y2K, numerous high-end manufacturers used PolyCrystal components to maximize the sound quality of their components. Some of these include Birdland Audio, Boulder, Diablo Acoustics, EgglestonWorks, Legend Audio Design, Nova Audio, Sonic Frontiers and VTL.

It will come as no surprise that Innovative Audio is currently in discussion with other manufacturers of high-end audio components who recognize the audible benefits that PolyCrystal resonance technology imparts to their components.
