APPLICATION
PolyCrystal speaker spikes are designed to be mounted to the bottom of
your speakers or speaker stands. They decouple the speakers from the floor
of the listening room, and from nearby components as well. Resonance-induced
coloration is greatly reduced, resulting in a cleaner and more clearly-defined
soundstage. MATERIAL Fine instrument-grade brass encapsulated in a shell of PolyCrystal resin material for the ultimate in resonance damping. SIZES Colossal spike: 1-1/2" in diameter by 1-3/4" high; Standard spike: 1" in diameter by 1-1/8" high; Small spike: 3/4" in diameter by 1-1/8" high. They are sold in sets of four. THREAD Each spike is threaded with an industry-standard ¼-20 hole and supplied with a ¼-20 X ¼-20 stud. PROTECTION The optional Spike Point Disks protect flooring and other vulnerable surfaces and measure 5/8" in diameter. ADAPTATION The Multi-studs are available in seven different versions and sold in sets of four. They are available in ¼-20 by any of the following thread types: · ¼-20 · 5/16" · 3/8" · 10/32 · 8mm · 6mm · wood screw These
sizes accommodate the most common SAE, metric and ISO threads found
on speakers from all over the world, thus allowing you to use the PolyCrystal
spikes on just about any speakers you will ever own! |
